Plumbing Service Area: Voorhees, NJ and Nearby Towns
Voorhees Pro Plumbing is based at 700 Haddonfield-Berlin Road in Voorhees, NJ, in Camden County. From there we dispatch licensed plumbers to Voorhees and to the towns around it.
This page explains what that coverage means in practice, which ZIP codes are involved and what to expect when you call from outside Voorhees.
How our coverage works
A service area is the set of addresses a plumbing company will drive to for a normal job. Ours is centered on Voorhees, with four neighboring towns that have their own pages: Gibbsboro, Somerdale, Lindenwold and West Berlin.
We say this plainly because many plumbing sites list dozens of towns they never visit. We would rather tell you honestly whether we can reach you than promise a visit and miss it.
Gibbsboro and Somerdale share a border with Voorhees. Lindenwold and West Berlin are close to Voorhees but we describe them as nearby rather than bordering, since we have not confirmed the exact boundary lines against a county map.
How dispatch from Voorhees works
Here is what happens when you call from any of our towns.
- 01
You describe the problem
We ask for your street address, the town and what you see. For an active leak, we give shutoff steps right away.
- 02
We confirm the address is in range
If you are in Voorhees or one of the four nearby towns, we book you. If you are farther out, we tell you honestly.
- 03
A plumber is assigned and sent
The plumber leaves our Voorhees base for your address. We do not quote arrival times because traffic on Route 73, Haddonfield-Berlin Road and the White Horse Pike changes by the hour.
- 04
You approve the price, then work begins
You hear a clear price before work starts. Emergency calls run 24/7 and same-day appointments are offered when available.
For burst lines and sewage backups, the first goal is to limit the damage while the plumber is on the way. Our pages on burst pipe repair and sewer line repair explain the first steps in detail.
ZIP codes we cover and nearby ZIPs
ZIP 08043 is the Voorhees ZIP where our business address sits, and it is the only ZIP we describe as covered by that address. The township also includes communities such as Echelon, Kirkwood, Ashland, Glendale, Kresson, Osage and Brighton Heights.
Nearby ZIPs are different. Gibbsboro uses 08026 and Somerdale uses 08083. Lindenwold uses 08021, which is a large ZIP that also takes in Clementon, Laurel Springs and Pine Hill, so ask before assuming your address is in range. West Berlin uses 08091.
We also hear from callers in Cherry Hill, Magnolia, Stratford, Lawnside and Evesham. These are farther out and do not have their own pages. Call and give your address, and we will say whether we can send someone.
Jobs people call us for across the area
Each town has its own mix of problems, but the services below cover most calls from any of them.
| Problem | Service page | Typical sign |
|---|---|---|
| Clogged or backing-up drains | Drain cleaning | Slow drains in several fixtures |
| Water heater leaking or cold | Water heater repair | Puddle at the base, no hot water |
| Unexplained wet spots or high bills | Leak detection | Meter moving with fixtures off |
| Basement taking on water | Sump pump service | Pump silent or running nonstop |
All four are available for emergency calls as well as scheduled visits.
The four towns we serve near Voorhees
Gibbsboro, NJ
Gibbsboro, ZIP 08026, lies west of Voorhees along Haddonfield-Berlin Road. Its lakes and creeks, including Silver Lake and Hilliards Creek, shape local drainage, and the county notes flooding near West Road and North Road.
Somerdale, NJ
Somerdale, ZIP 08083, is separated from Voorhees by the Cooper River. Homes along Kennedy Boulevard and Parkview Avenue back onto the river, so basement water and sump pump calls are a regular part of the work.
Lindenwold, NJ
Lindenwold, ZIP 08021, is the home of the PATCO terminus. Census QuickFacts shows only about 30 percent of homes are owner-occupied, so many calls come from tenants and landlords who need clear steps on who calls whom.
West Berlin, NJ
West Berlin, ZIP 08091, is part of Berlin Township, which runs its own sewer system. The township maintains the main, and the homeowner is responsible for the lateral, which decides whether you call a plumber or Public Works first.
